At the 2007 Eventia ITM Awards in association with C&IT magazine, held at London’s Grosvenor House, Eventia bestowed a prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award - to one of the events industry’s most prominent, popular and respected figures, industry veteran, Tony Moy, co-founder of agency Page & Moy Motivation (forerunner to P&MM) and current Chairman of incentive, recognition and reward agency, Oxford Motivation, part of the Buckinghamshire based Indeprod Group.
In saluting Tony Moy as a pioneer of group incentive travel, Eventia Chairman Nigel Cooper commented that at least sixty of the members of the Awards’ audience had been his early employees and would attest to his fair dealing and good humour.
Moy’s considerable network of client and supplier contacts gleaned over 35 years as a global event and travel management specialist is now being used to spearhead the continuing Indeprod Group acquisition programme.
Eventia was created, following the merger between two complementary trade associations: the Corporate Events Association (CEA) and the Incentive Travel & Meetings Association (ITMA) and represents organisations that provide business solutions through the use of events. Eventia is the hub for conference and incentive travel organisers, live communications agencies, producers of experiential marketing activity, performance improvement companies and corporate entertainment agencies – as well as suppliers of services to these event management companies.
